ABOUT OUR STORAGE SYSTEM
You can now effortlessly store more than 1400 comics within a compact floor space of just two square feet, or accommodate over 4200 comics in a modest closet. Plus, have every comic easily accessible without the need for any heavy lifting! Each box is specifically crafted to be stackable and capable of supporting up to five additional boxes filled with comics on top without any risk of collapsing. They are even firm enough to provide support for the other boxes in case the bottom drawer is entirely removed. Portable handles are conveniently placed at both ends for easy transport. The reinforced ends, consisting of four layers of cardboard, ensure durability and longevity, making them sturdy enough to endure pulling, unlike standard boxes.
THE REASONS BEHIND OUR UNMATCHED SUCCESS
Both sizes are created to accommodate Silver Age or Modern Age comics alongside protective supplies like Millcases and Mylars.
While Golden Age comics can be housed in the drawer without a board, DrawerBoxes are not intended to hold items such as backing boards for Golden Age or Silver/Gold comics (like those from the '50s Dells line). Our own experience with traditional boxes over the years demonstrated that wider containers could cause comics inside to shift to the side as contents move, leading to bent edges even with boards. This discovery led us to prioritize designing our boxes with closer tolerances to ensure a proper fit for the comics. This decision meant choosing between a "one size fits all" approach common in most long and short boxes, or a narrower width specifically tailored for Silver and Modern Age comics.
