The DrawerBox is designed to accept our patent protected BoxLox™ Box Anchors to increase their stacking strength and stability, including eliminating the risk of the top unit tipping.


Even more unique is our new design for our patent protected locking tab that prevents the drawer from being withdrawn too far, spilling its contents. By simply lifting the drawer upwards the tab will release if someone wants to withdraw it entirely.


Note that it is important to order a BoxSort™ Upright Divider Rail for each unit and use 1 upright divider in the last slot only. This ensures that your LP records are easy to remove by keeping them from slipping under the shell when the drawer is closed.

ACCESSIBLITY

Albums can be stored with their spines facing up so they are easily read and the drawers will open far enough that any album can be removed without removing the drawer. (Albums should always be stored upright and not flat to prevent warping.) By using inserting an upright divider in the last slot in the BoxSort rail the albums are held in place for easy access.


Each drawer comfortable holds up to 60 albums. Since the same size holds magazines, you can even use one drawer to store you magazines with your albums in an adjacent unit, enabling collectors to stack them side-by-side and still have a neat, flush appearance.

DURABILITY

Since LP albums can be very heavy, the key in developing this design lies in its unique triple wall construction. The support sleeve utilizes a double wall construction, custom made of heavier weight materials than any other cardboard box. In addition the shell meets an Edge Crush Test rating (the industry standard for determining stacking strength) exceeding 44# p/inch. We wanted the same degree of stackability that made our other DrawerBoxes so popular.
