WHAT IS BOXLOX™?

BoxLox™ Box Anchors are a unique set of clips designed exclusively for use with DrawerBoxes™. These clips attach the sides of the shells to each other, creating a unified structure where each DrawerBox stabilizes the others. When you open a drawer on the top level, it remains in place without needing a counterbalance on top.



Using BoxLox™ on lower boxes adds stacking strength by securing the sides of the shells together. This ensures that the support sleeves create a column, transferring the stack’s weight directly to the floor.

FAQs

  • Can DrawerBoxes™ be separated when BoxLox™ are used?

    Yes, BoxLox™ packs are designed to be semi-permanent but can be disconnected. Slip your fingers between the connected shells and give a firm yank apart. The BoxLox™ will pop apart without damaging the heavy-duty cardboard shells. Most clips will be reusable, though occasionally, a leg might crack. Fortunately, BoxLox™ are affordable and easy to replace. 


    If you need to relocate your DrawerBoxes™, simply remove the drawers. You can then move each row of shells easily and reinsert the drawers at your new location.

  • How many BoxLox™ do I need?

    The number of BoxLox™ Box Anchors needed depends on your configuration. Each pack connects two DrawerBoxes side-by-side (never top-to-bottom!). To prevent the top unit from tipping, you need one less BoxLox™ pack than the number of rows across. For additional stability and long-term stacking strength, use the following formula:


    • Multiply the number of rows high by one less than the number of rows across. For example, if you have 30 DrawerBoxes™ stacked 5 high, you could use 25 BoxLox™.
