WATCH OUT! THE MARAUDERS THAT EAT COMICS!

Imagine the horror when this collector picked up a perfectly fine looking box of comics only to have the contents fall through the bottom. Up to that point the box looked fine, stored with many other boxes and, as is typical for a large collection - rarely checked.

As it turns out, termite's favorite meal is the cellulose in wood and...well...paper! Apparently the hungry little marauders found their way into the wood floor and, sight unseen, worked their way upwards into the box of comics that was sitting on it.

As much as we would like to be able to say that our DrawerBoxes will protect your comics from everything, the reality is there are all kinds of risks and one is termites.

But wait, there is some good news. As you can see in the photo below, sent by one of our more fortunate customers, apparently termites cannot eat plastic bags. Despite the DrawerBox being destroyed, all his comics were saved because they were bagged.

Perhaps the best reason of all to make sure all your comics and magazines are bagged and boarded!
